About Founder
I want to first introduce myself as a practising Community Medical Doctor in the Midlands. I have professionally trained as a Western Medicine Doctor all my young adulthood with over 12 years of experience spanning General Medicine, Medical Education and Community Medicine across the Irish healthcare landscape.
I've recently developed a keen interest in South Indian Ayurveda (focus on Kerala practices) as an alternative, to complement the obvious limits of what Western Medicine can offer to patients. To this end, I've received higher training to complete a government-accredited Diploma in Ayurveda & Panchakarma from a recognised school in Kerala, India. I also plan to continue lifelong education and training as an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Panchakarma Therapist.
My big realisation is that I can help popularise an ancient practice for the benefit of people locally here in Ireland. I strongly believe my background in Western Medicine can bring a useful perspective to provide complimentary options to patients with chronic medical problems poorly managed by modern medical treatments. My approach will heavily lean towards South Indian School of Ayurveda, especially the Kerala tradition. This is arguably the best preserved system with a historically unbroken lineage of practice and focus on unique herbal-based physical detoxification therapies.

*Obtained from School of Ayurveda and Panchakarma in Kerala, India. School of Ayurveda and Panchakarma is the only Ayurveda Institute in Kerala having affiliation to STED council (Scientific and Technical Education Development Council) and therefore to the Government of India. This makes the certification accepted globally and enables practice across the world.
